How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is a $15 flat rate fee, Australia-wide, whether you’re in the city, rural or remote areas.
What should I do if my order hasn’t arrived?
Most orders arrive within 1-3 days.

What if my medication is out of stock?
While we try our best to have 1000s of alternative medications readily available, there may be times where we are waiting for stock for some products from our supplier.
If you’re having difficulty accessing it through uMeds or directly from pharmacies, it may be best to get in touch with your prescribing doctor to ask about alternatives.
Why did uMeds reject my prescription?
There are a few reasons we may be unable to fulfil your electronic prescriptions (eScripts) for alternative medications.
To be eligible, your script must:
- Be for a medication we stock
- Be valid and not expired, cancelled, or already dispensed
- Include your contact details (email or phone number)
- Be written for a brand-name product (we can't process generic or open scripts at this time)
- Not list a patient or clinic address in Tasmania (we’re currently unable to fulfil Tasmanian prescriptions)
Can I order medication on behalf of someone else?
No, you can’t order medication for someone else using your uMeds account. The eScripts need to be in your name, and you can only upload and order medication for yourself.
It’s easy to order via uMeds. If you know someone with a valid eScript who would like to have their alternative medication dispensed and delivered by us, send them to the website to check online.
What payment options does uMeds accept?
uMeds accepts a wide range of payment methods, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, American Express, Mastercard and Visa.
If you need more flexibility when it comes to managing your budget, you can also pay for your order in instalments with Afterpay.
